Op de Tweede Maasvlakte is vorige maand begonnen met de bouw van Windpark Maasvlakte 2. Eneco bouwt dit in opdracht van Rijkswaterstaat.

Start of construction Maasvlakte 2 wind farm

Last month, the construction of Windpark Maasvlakte 2 started on the Second Maasvlakte. Eneco is building this park by order of Rijkswaterstaat.

The wind farm will be constructed at the head of Maasvlakte 2. It will consist of 22 wind turbines, ten of which will be placed on the dike and twelve on the beach. Some of the turbines on the beach will be placed with their feet in the surf.
