Daarin is geen plaats meer voor bulkchemie, en dus verkoopt het bedrijf de VLS-activiteiten. Volgens berichten in de media viel de bezetting van de opslagloodsen ook tegen. De nieuwe eigenaar is Van Moer Logistics, gevestigd in Zwijndrecht (B). Beide bedrijven hebben geen overnamesom bekendgemaakt. 

Toegevoegde waarde

Broekman zegt zich voortaan helemaal te richten op de markten van speciale verpakte chemicaliën, constructie- en landbouwmachines en industrial equipment in de breakbulk-industrie. Het wil logistiek met toegevoegde waarde bieden, zoals productie, assemblage en de behandeling van reserveonderdelen in warehouses en terminals.

Broekman sells bulk chemicals activities

Broekman Logistics has announced that it will sell the VLS activities it acquired four years ago. Bulk chemicals do not fit in the strategy anymore, according to the company.
