Het bedrijf beschikt in de Botlek al over een fabriek waar vloeibare waterstof wordt geproduceerd. De nieuwe fabriek komt ‘bovenop’ de bestaande fabriek, aldus Air Products. Air Products expands liquid hydrogen production

Air Products plans to build a second plant in Rotterdam to produce liquid hydrogen. The final investment decision was announced on 21 September.

The company already has a liquid hydrogen production plant in Botlek. The new plant will be “on top of” the existing plant, Air Products says. The aim is to have the new plant operational by 2025. This will more than double the total production capacity of liquid hydrogen in Europe.
