Op het strand van de Tweede Maasvlakte wordt volgende maand een begin gemaakt met de bouw van het windpark Maasvlakte 2. Als eerste worden de funderingen geplaatst.

Op de kop van de Tweede Maasvlakte bouwt Eneco het windpark in opdracht van Rijkswaterstaat. Het bestaat uit 22 windturbines, waarvan er tien op de dijk worden geplaatst en twaalf op het strand. Een aantal turbines komen met de voet in de branding te staan.

Funderingen

Vanaf volgende maand wordt begonnen met de heiwerkzaamheden op het strand. Dan plaatst Eneco de funderingen. Tegelijkertijd zullen op de dijk funderingen worden geplaatst.
