Pernis en 32 bedrijventerreinen in Rotterdam worden aangesloten op glasvezel. De gemeente en Glaspoort hebben hiervoor een overeenkomst gesloten.

Glaspoort is een joint venture van KPN en pensioenfonds APG, die de glasvezelaanleg in Nederland versnelt. Dit jaar wordt er begonnen met de voorbereidende werkzaamheden voor de aanleg van glasvezel in Rotterdam Alexander en bedrijvenpark Rotterdam Noord-West.
