Met ingang van 1 augustus 2021 heeft mateco BV de activiteiten van branchegenoot Debru Hoogwerk overgenomen.

Debru is een toonaangevende aanbieder in de verhuur van vrachtwagenhoogwerkers met bediening en heeft hoogwerkers tot 70 meter werkhoogte in de verhuur.

Door de overname van Debru Hoogwerk wordt het fundament van mateco verder verstevigd als hoogwerkerspecialist. Met de expertise en ervaring van Debru en de (inter)nationale slagkracht van mateco zal een sterke meerwaarde geboden kunnen worden aan de klanten van beide firma’s.

In een reactie op de overname zei Andries Schouten, coo mateco groep: “Deze strategische overname geeft ons de mogelijkheid om onze autohoogwerkeractiviteiten in Nederland sneller te laten groeien. In Duitsland zijn we met mateco al marktleider. Door de overname van Debru zijn we nu ook marktleider in Nederland.”
